Miles Morales' first two MCU appearances revealed according to reports

It's been a long time coming, but it looks like Miles Morales will finally have his debut in the MCU. Better yet; we might know when will that happen.

Multiple people have taken on the Spider-Man mantle over the years. However, few have been as iconic as Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and, of course, Miles Morales. The latter stole the spotlight in the Ultimate comic book universe after the death of Peter. Since then, he became a fan-favorite character who would appear in multiple TV series and video games. Besides, he would go as far as starring in two fantastic animated movies in the form of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse.

But even with all of Miles' success, fans are still waiting for his live-action debut. The idea alone of watching him share the screen with Tom Holland's Peter Parker is enough to get us excited. Fortunately, it seems that prospect could become a reality soon enough. While nothing is official yet, new reports suggest we'll finally get to watch him in not only one but two Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. So let's break it all down, shall we?

Miles Morales' debut could come in Spider-Man 4

For a long time now, it's been reported that Marvel and Sony were at odds regarding the direction of Spider-Man 4. While the former wanted to tell a personal and grounded Peter Parker story, the latter wanted a big multiversal crossover a la No Way Home. Nonetheless, it seems the multiversal approach was discarded with the flip side being that many classic Spider-Man characters will appear in the movie now.

One of those characters will be Miles Morales as reported by insider HolyField News on X (formerly Twitter). Unfortunately, it isn't specified if we'll see him wearing the iconic red and black mask while swinging between buildings or just as a normal teenager without superpowers. However, either of those two options would surely make fans jump out of their seats in excitement.

It's important to remember that Spider-Man: Homecoming already featured a small nod to Miles. While the Brooklyn teenager was nowhere to be seen in the movie, Peter did come across his uncle Aaron Davis. Furthermore, Aaron mentions how he wants a safe neighborhood for his "nephew". So by all we know, Miles Morales exists right now in the MCU, waiting for his moment to be bitten by a spider.

But even if Miles doesn't have powers by the time credits roll on Spider-Man 4, chances are he'll be a full-on superhero in another big project if another new rumor is to be believed.

Avengers: Doomsday may feature Miles' return

According to MCU Scooper, Miles will also show up in the highly-anticipated Avengers Doomsday. It's worth noting that the wall-crawler has gone toe-to-toe with Victor Van Damme before in the Ultimate universe, so it would make sense to see this match-up on the big screen. Besides, while it isn't explicitly mentioned, chances are Miles would also return for Avengers: Secret Wars if he does appear in Doomsday first.

As if that wasn't enough, it has also been reported that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also show up in the MCU's next big crossover. So all signs seem to indicate audiences will be in for a big arachnid team-up with three different variants of Peter Parker (including Tom Holland) and one of Miles Morales. Just when it seemed the Spider-Man: No Way Home experience couldn't be surpassed, Marvel could look to outdo themselves.
