The past few days have been a great time to be a fan of the old web-head. We finally got the breaking news that Spider-Man 4 will be released on July 26, 2026, and had a chance to watch the long-awaited Venom: The Last Dance on the big screen. Besides, Insomniac updated Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to add support to the PS5 Pro. It's not a DLC but hey, we'll get what we can have. However, among all those amazing news and releases, we also had one jaw-dropping reveal that took us all by surprise.

MGM+ and Prime Video's Spider-Man Noir has been making headlines recently for all the right reasons. From casting multiple actors ahead of production to revealing the first look at Nicholas Cage's Peter Parker. However, everyone was eagerly awaiting to see how would the main protagonist look like with his iconic costume on, and that day is finally here:

Our first look at the Spider-Man Noir suit is here

MGM+ and Amazong clearly understood the assignment. Could the suit be any more comic-book-accurate? And above anything else; we have to acknowledge it looks simply awesome. It has all the distinctive details fans have come to expect from this violent version of the wall-crawler: Rounded goggles, a black leather coat, the iconic fedora, and, of course, a pair of gloves and boots. It's impossible to deny the costume looks stripped out of comic book pages.

Furthermore, it's worth noting the set also has a lot of care and attention put into it, given that it flawlessly conveys the Great Depression era. The side buildings look old and torn, and the inclusion of vintage vehicles only adds to the immersion. It's clear the goal is to make a huge Spider-Man series, which is only supported by the report that the first episode will see a huge fight between the wall-crawler and Sandman. If that turns out to be the case, then audiences would be in for a lot of superhero action from the get-go.

Unfortunately, there's no release date confirmed yet for the highly anticipated series. However, that could change very soon. Reliable insider Alex Perez, from The Cosmic Circus, teased that CCXP could see a lot of Spider-Man-related announcements and news. The event is set to take place from December 5 to December 8, 2024, and while it may be too early for the release of a Spider-Man Noir trailer, perhaps a premiere date could be in the cards.
