Venom: The Last Dance is the culmination of the Lethal Protector trilogy on the big screen. The journey that started back in 2018 is soon coming to a "definitive" conclusion, and everyone is eager to know if Sony ended things on a high note or not. At the time of writing this, we're just a couple of days away from finally watching the movie ourselves. However, there were a few lucky people who managed to get an early screening.
The New York premiere of Venom: The Last Dance took place on October 21. Actors Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and director Kelly Marcel all attended the event which took place in Times Square. After credits rolled on the 1 hour and 49-minute film, audiences made their way online to share their reactions. Fortunately, the general consensus seems to be pretty positive!

Early reactions say Venom: The Last Dance is a fun popcorn movie
At the time of writing this, I have yet to see a single negative reaction to Venom: The Last Dance (which will probably change after the worldwide premiere or possibly during the next few hours). But even if those who've seen it recognize the movie isn't perfect by any means, they also say it's a fun popcorn adventure with lots of action and even a few emotional sequences.
It could be compared to the first entry in the Venom franchise. Perhaps it won't be beloved by critics for its bulletproof script, but it could very well be a fun ride if you simply go with the flow. But don't take my word for it - instead, let's dive deeper and see what audiences are saying after watching Venom: The Last Dance for themselves. And don't worry! There won't be spoilers below.
I've seen #VenomTheLastDance and it's the most cinematic, monumental #Venom movie to date. Eddie Brock and Venom's dynamic is at its strongest in this one and the stakes are so much higher. I had a LOT of fun with this one...the final act is BONKERS! pic.twitter.com/7sEBGMZpEY

Venom: The Last Dance is the most entertaining of the trilogy. It's largely a funny and sweet road trip with Eddie and Venom living their Thelma & Louise fugitive dreams, including car karaoke and dog rescuing. You might even find yourself getting emotional. #VenomTheLastDance pic.twitter.com/9vFtq3eJfT

Venom The Last Dance is a whacky buddy roadtrip that stretches its PG-13 rating as far as it will possibly go. Simply put - Venom 3 is classic guilty pleasure cinema. Turn your brains off and let #Venom snack on ‘em. pic.twitter.com/7geSd29O3O

#VenomTheLastDance sees Tom Hardy go all in for a fun finale befitting the franchise. With stacks of set pieces ranging from kooky to crazy, this doesn't hold back with the Venomenal action. Take it for what it is. Grab some popcorn and go with the flow of this raging road movie. pic.twitter.com/neW56JxTLg

#VenomTheLastDance takes you on a wild and exhilarating journey from start to finish! It’s a fun popcorn movie that reminds me of the early 2000’s comic book movies. The action is great & is a tribute to action films from the 80’s. There’s a ton of funny moments. Are there plot… pic.twitter.com/b0wY5qkck4

All in all, Venom: The Last Dance seems like a fitting conclusion to the saga that might just be the best out of the three movies. It doesn't hold back on the wacky action and might surprisingly push the PG-13 rating to its very limits. There appear to be a few emotional moments as well, given that this is supposedly the last time we see Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote bond on the big screen.
Now that the movie was finally screened for a lucky few, it's important to keep in mind that spoilers could make their way online at any moment. So if you don't want any surprises ruined, I'd advise staying out of social media until you've finally had the chance to watch Sony's highly-anticipated film.
