Marvel recently releaseda trailerthat showcases every superhero series coming to Disney+ in 2024 and 2025. There are many things to be excited about, such as the release ofYour Friendly Neighborhoodin January, orDeadpool & Wolverinecoming to streaming on November 12. However, all eyes are on Matt Murdock and his first project in theMarvel Cinematic Universesince the Netflix series ended.
Daredevil: Born Againwill be released on March 4, 2025, and it will follow Wilson Fisk as he becomes the Mayor of New York. With that in mind, aDevil's Reignadaption is all but confirmed. Chip Zdarsky's comic book arc follows the Kingpin of crime as he abuses his political power to outlaw all the vigilantes in the city, including Iron Man, Captain America, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and two different Spider-Men in the form of Miles Morales and Ben Reilly.
Even if Peter Parker himself didn't have a role inDevil's Reign, the live-action adaptation could change that. And while it seems highly unlikely that Tom Holland will cameo inDaredevil: Born Again, that's not to say there can be a Spider-Man nod here and there. Fortunately, it seems that will be exactly the case if a new rumor is anything to go by.

Wilson Fisk will reportedly reference Spider-Man in Daredevil: Born Again
According to insiderMyTimeToShineHello, Wilson Fisk will give a mayoral acceptance speech inDaredevil Born Againthat references the wall-crawler. The Kingpin of crime will encourage citizens not to rely on "heroes who dress as a spider, a devil, or a psycho vigilante with a skull symbol"to protect them. Naturally, he's talking about Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Punisher.
Even if Tom Holland's Peter Parker doesn't appear (yet) inDaredevil: Born Again, it's nice to know there will be an easter egg referencing him. After all, a second season of the highly-anticipated show has been confirmed, and if the first one proves to be a major success then the possibilities for what's to come could be endless.
The Friendly Neighborhood Hero and the Man Without Fear are very close friends and allies on comic book pages. Fans have been eager to see that relationship develop on the big (or small) screen as well. WhileSpider-Man: No Way Homedid feature a quick Matt Murdock cameo, the two heroes didn't meet with their costumes on which was a bit of a letdown. Furthermore, it wasreportedthatSpider-Man 4would initially focus on Peter and Matt teaming up to fight against the Kingpin and other street-level enemies such as Mr. Negative, Scorpion, and Hammerhead. However, it seems the wall-crawler's next stand-alone adventure will now be a multiversal movie instead.
It's unclear if we'll ever get a proper Daredevil and Spider-Man team-up in the MCU. However, this small easter egg might be the way to kick things off. Hey, at the very least it's better than nothing!
