The American filmmaker is better known for directingShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings; one of the most acclaimed MCU movies afterAvengers: Endgame. His work in bringing the B-lister hero to life and turning him into one of Marvel's main characters moving forward is indicative that the wall-crawler could be in a safe pair of hands.

One of the most acclaimed aspects ofShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringswas its amazing action sequences. Destin Daniel Cretton and company worked tirelessly to create beautifully choreographed fights for the big screen, rivaling those found in heavy hitters such asCaptain America: The Winter Soldier. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see what he can do with a character as popular as Spider-Man.
