New Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Funko Pops will reportedly come our way "very soon"

Are you ready for more Spider-Man collectibles?

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launched back in October 2023, to great critical and commercial response. It earned its spot as one of the best superhero games ever by featuring two playable heroes, a relentless villain in the form of Kraven the Hunter, and a new menacing rendition of the Lethal Protector. Such was the success of Insomniac's latest title, that it had plenty of merchandise (including that weird Adidas suit). Now, almost one year after the game's release, it seems like new collectibles are making their way to stores.

Six new Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Funko Pops could come soon

As revealed by Funko reporter The Scarlet Joker, a second wave of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Funko Pops will come our way, and it's set to include the following figures:

1. Peter Parker in the Anti-Venom Suit
2. Miles Morales in the City Sounds Suit
3. Harry Osborn with the symbiote taking over
4. Mary Jane as Scream
5. Peter Parker in his Advanced 2.0 Suit with the symbiote taking over
6. Venom with wings

Almost all of these collectibles represent a key moment in the main story of the game, with the exception of Miles Morales' City Sounds Suit which is unlocked after completing a set of side quests. The Anti-Venom suit is introduced during the third act of the game and it's a result of the symbiote's remnants in Peter Parker getting mixed with Mr Negative's powers. Mary Jany takes on the Scream persona for a brief moment after Venom infects her as a means to hurt Peter. Speaking of which, Harry Osborn replaced Eddie Brock as the Lethal Protector, and by the final mission of the game he grows symbiotic wings a la Donny Cates style.

Unfortunately, no estimated reveal date was given aside from mentioning it could come "really soon". Of course, it's important to take all rumors with a grain of salt. But it seems like we should start to reserve some space in our rooms to include a few new Spider-Man collectibles.

The first wave of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Funko Pops was released in July 2024. It included figures such as Peter Parker Advanced Suit 2.0, Miles Morales Upgraded Suit, Venom, and Kraven The Hunter with a Knife. Furthermore, a few exclusives were also released in the form of Miles Morales in the (undeniably ugly) Evolved Suit, Peter Parker in the Velocity Suit, and Peter Parker in the Symbiote Suit. So in total, it seems we could have a total of 13 figures featuring characters from Insomniac's latest adventure if the latest rumor is to be believed.
