Being a Spider-Man fan can often be tough for many reasons. As an example, we recently learned that the highly-anticipated Spider-Man 4 might be delayed and that Marvel Comics won't let Peter Parker get married on Earth-616. However, few struggles compare to not being able to get every single piece of merch related to the wall-crawler just because of how many there are. It seems as if every day a new collectible is released, and they all somehow manage to make it to my "to-buy" list. On the bright side, Christmas is around the corner, so now's the perfect time to review all the latest Spidey merch released and see if any of them can make it into our wishlist.

Let's kick things off with a jaw-dropping collectible. Hot Toys has made a name for itself by producing high-quality, 1/6th-scale figures with special attention to detail, and their latest addition is no different. It takes inspiration from one of Spidey's best looks in Insomniac's acclaimed title: Marvel's Spider-Man 2. After all, it's impossible to forget how Mr. Negative used his powers to break Peter Parker free from the symbiote's effects, creating the Anti-Venom suit in the process.

It's nice to see there are multiple symbiote tendril accessories that can be attached to Peter's arms and back as it truly makes the costume come to life. That's only helped by the fact that there will be three interchangeable eyepieces, adding a lot of expression to the character. And, as it's usual for Hot Toys, the figure includes a stand to display its best pose. So if the Anti-Venom Hot Toys collectible seems like your cup of tea, you can pre-order it for $290.00 here.

Next on the list is another Venomized 1/6th figure, except this one represents Peter's darker side. The collectible flawlessly depicts how the wall-crawler looked like when he bonded to the symbiote in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. The color palette consists of the iconic black-and-white mix fans have come to expect of this design, as well as light-blue lines meant to imitate the character highlights that audiences saw on the small screen. It comes with no shortage of attachments, such as hands in different positions, Peter's head-sculpt, and web accessories. Unfortunately, the figure is currently sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when there's a restock.

Last but not least in the symbiotic list, we have a new Lego mecha set that includes our very first Anti-Venom minifigure ever. Unlike the Hot Toys collectible, Peter isn't the one under the symbiote this time around, but rather Eddie Brock. While mecha sets aren't my personal jam, I have to say the minifigures alone are worth it. Besides, unlike other bigger Lego sets, this one isn't all that expensive. You'll be able to get it for $14.99 once it is released early next year.

Speaking of Lego, the first set based on the Spider-Verse franchise was recently revealed. Before its official announcement, this was the collectible I was the most excited about. However, as a huge Lego and Spider-Man fan, I have to say I'm kind of disappointed. Charging $49.99 for a set with four mini-figures, one car, and a very small and simple facade of a building feels like a lot. Besides, if it weren't for the absolutely gorgeous figures of the Spot, Gwen, Miles, and Officer Jefferson, there would be nothing that stands out in the set. Chances you'd get this one just for the mini-figures and nothing more, so perhaps waiting for a sale would be the ideal way to go.

It wouldn't be a proper Spider-Man merch breakdown without the inclusion of a Funko Pop! So to keep the streak going, let's talk about the Spider-Man Last Stance figure. This costume is worn by a future version of Peter Parker who decides to drop the good-guy persona and kill some of its most iconic enemies. After being kicked out of the Avengers, the wall-crawler decides to sport a new look and the result is one of the most badass Spider-Man costumes ever made. As someone who likes to use this skin a lot in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the Funko Pop! figure is definitely a must. So if you're like me and want to pre-order it, you can do so for $15.99 right here.
