Is Miles Morales Going To Be Joining The Avengers?

Ready for a fun bit of speculation?

The image above is from the Free Comic Book Day issue of The All-New, All-Different Avengers, one that Marvel has used as a teaser by slowly revealing the heroes in the silhouettes. Tuesday, the company showed off the current Thor and Ms. Marvel, while today brought us Nova and Vision.

The figure in the middle is almost certainly Sam Wilson, still Captain America for the moment, and the one on the left looks like Iron Man or another one of the armored heroes floating around.

That leaves one figure left, bounding right at the reader below Wilson. And many fans have voiced their opinion and/or hope that it’s Miles Morales.

Take a look at the whole cover as of today:

That definitely could be a certain Ultimate Spider-Man, perhaps posed that was because a more obviously Spidey pose would have given it away. Miles fits with Ms. Marvel and Nova on that bottom row, for sure, as all three are among the younger Marvel super heroes at the moment.

We also know that in Secret Wars, the remnants of the regular and Ultimate universes are going to be smashed together on the new Battleworld. That means Miles could easily join up with this new version of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

The answer could come as soon as tomorrow, but it’s fun to think about in the meantime.
