Do you think Sony should replace Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man?

Andrew Garfield has won me over. Initially I thought he was coming across as a bit too cool to be Peter Parker, and to be honest I probably still do think that. However I feel that he’s given us a cinematic Spider-Man that closely resembles the Spider-Man we know from the comics more than any other Spider-Man movie. (I’m looking at you Tobey Maguire)

He’s also really good at the softer character moments with his on-screen relationship with Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy really bringing Amazing Spider-Man 2 to life.

But recently rumours have arisen suggesting that Sony ‘has plans for you Peter Parker’. These rather sinister plans are suggesting that the studio want to ‘soft reboot’ the Spider-Man franchise in the Sinister Six spin-off movie and that means replacing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Currently I’m not sure how I feel about this and I probably won’t be for some time.

So, that’s why I want to get the opinion of as many Spider-Fans as possible. Do you think Sony should replace Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man?
