Amazing Spider-Man's young Peter Parker joins Clint Eastwood's American Sniper

Clint Eastwood’s latest film American Sniper based off of a book with the same name and subtitled The Autobiography Of The Most Lethal Sniper In US Military, which recorded Kyle’s career as a marksman who accumulated a record number of recorded kills for an American has found itself a new cast member. Max Charles will be joining the cast as Bradley Cooper’s title character US Navy sniper Chris Kyle and Cooper’s on-screen wife Sienna Miller’s son.

Despite only being 11 Charles already has a widely succesful film career having been the voice of Sherman in Mr. Peabody and Sherman and, of course, Spider-Fans will recognise him as young Peter Parker from the flashback scenes in Amazing Spider-Man. With the credits he already has, and his impending appearance in American Sniper I’d say that Charles is ‘one to watch’.

The film that originally had Stephen Spielberg attached to it is expected to be released sometime around 2015, you can expect to see Charles playing a child caught in a difficult family situation…. oh, wait! He’s being typecast!
