Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin is a bit of an enigma in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 film. We know that Paul Giamatti’s Rhino is a bit of a non-factor because he’s only in the film for four minutes, and we know pretty much all there is to know about Electro. However the third villain of the film is still somewhat of a mystery, but we are piecing him together as the film draws nearer.
The latest jig-saw piece that completes the Green Goblin puzzle are his iconic pumpkin bombs. Which can be seen nestled in Dane DeHaan’s costume in some sort of wrist-gauntlet. However, a closer look at the bombs has been released.
And here it is. As you can see the bombs do closely resemble a pumpkin which is kind of neat. And in-keeping with all of the villains and the synopsis of the film we have the Oscorp logo plastered all over them. Now, it looks like the Green Goblin will have to press the button and then throw them.
That’s pretty much all there is to say, just enjoy the picture and the fact that the Green Goblin is really shaping up. Which is important really considering that it’s almost certain that he’ll be responsible for the biggest moment in the movie, and perhaps the biggest moment in on-screen superhero villainy ever!
